Quick answer

This guide covers EY-Parthenon UK early-career recruitment for the 2026 intake, while noting where the US or other countries differ. The EY-Parthenon UK early-careers page states that 2026 applications are closed and that candidates should join its community for notice when applications reopen later in 2026. The next cycle's dates are not yet confirmed.

UK routes differ within EY-Parthenon. Strategy uses an application, online assessments, two first-round case interviews and a final round. Operational Diligence and Software Strategy Group use a related but not identical process. Candidates can apply to only one programme within a six-month period for these routes.

Roles available

The UK early-career page covers Strategy, Operational Diligence and Software Strategy Group, alongside other EY-Parthenon transaction and advisory programmes. For the 2026 Strategy route, full-time Associate Consultants were scheduled to start in September 2026. Summer Interns were scheduled for an eight-week programme in July and August 2026, with a potential September 2027 full-time start after a return offer.

Those dates are historical for candidates targeting the next cycle and should not be reused until EY publishes new listings.

Eligibility requirements

EY UK removed blanket minimum UCAS-point and degree-classification requirements, although individual programmes may still consider academic qualifications. The Strategy application asks candidates to provide complete qualification details and information about experiences and aptitudes.

The live programme page controls degree stage, graduation window, location and work authorisation. Eligibility for Strategy cannot be inferred from Valuation, Capital & Debt Advisory or an EY programme outside EY-Parthenon.

Application deadlines and timeline

For the closed 2026 Strategy route, the official programme page published 30 October 2025 for full-time roles and 6 January 2026 for summer roles. Applications were reviewed after the deadline, not on a rolling basis. These are historical dates, not forecasts for 2027.

How to apply

  1. Select the exact EY-Parthenon programme and location.
  2. Confirm that no conflicting EY programme application has been made within the restricted period.
  3. Create an account and enter personal and qualification details.
  4. Submit the application and complete the online assessments as instructed.
  5. Wait for deadline-based review where the programme says applications are not rolling.
  6. If selected, follow interview and mentor instructions from the recruiting team.

Documents and information required

The UK page emphasises application-form information rather than a universal CV-and-cover-letter checklist. Candidates must enter personal details and qualifications and answer questions about experiences and aptitudes. The live form decides whether a CV, transcript or other attachment is required.

Recruitment process

1. Application form

Candidates choose a programme and preferred work location, then provide personal and qualification details.

2. Online assessments

For the listed EYP routes, these include rank-order, written and recorded-video answers and a timed numerical-reasoning test. The invitation says whether the assessment must be completed in one sitting.

3. Interviews

The 2026 Strategy route used two back-to-back 25-minute case interviews in the first round. The final round contained two longer case interviews and a senior-leadership interview. Operational Diligence and Software Strategy Group used first-round case interviews followed by a final partner interview. Interviews could be virtual or in person depending on availability.

4. Offer and start date

The recruiting team reconvenes after final interviews. Programme start dates were fixed for the closed 2026 cycle.

Office selection and mobility

Candidates choose a programme and preferred location in the application. This does not create applications to other EY-Parthenon offices or countries. US Strategy recruitment, for example, uses its own application windows and behavioural/case process.

Reapplication policy

EY UK's early-career FAQ says candidates rejected at any stage must wait six months before another graduate or undergraduate application. Apprenticeship and Career Starters applications use a three-month period.

Visa sponsorship and work authorisation

Work-authorisation and sponsorship rules depend on the programme. Candidates must use the live vacancy and notify EY if their immigration status changes after applying. The UK page does not promise sponsorship for every EY-Parthenon role.

Common application mistakes

  • Treating the historical 2026 deadlines as the next cycle's dates.
  • Applying to a second programme inside the six-month restriction.
  • Assuming every EY-Parthenon service line uses the Strategy interview sequence.
  • Expecting rolling review when the programme says applications are reviewed after closing.
  • Missing webcam, microphone or one-sitting requirements in the assessment email.
  • Assuming an EY role outside Parthenon has the same eligibility or visa rules.
